more than victories; it’s been a statement of intent.

Hull KR began their Challenge Cup campaign with a commanding away performance against York Knights at the LNER Community Stadium. Despite the unfamiliar venue and a spirited challenge, the Robins were ruthless. A clinical display from Mikey Lewis and

strong leadership from captain Elliot Minchella steered Rovers to a dominant 44–2 win, setting the tone for what was to come.

Returning home for Round 4, Hull KR hosted Oldham RLFC in front of an electric Craven Park crowd. The Robins didn’t disappoint. With six different try scorers and a rock-solid defensive effort, they cruised to a 40–0 victory. Another clean sheet, and further proof

that Rovers were firing on both sides of the ball.

Few fixtures carry the intensity of a Hull Derby, and this quarter-final clash against Hull FC delivered. Played at the MKM Stadium, the match was fierce and emotional. Even after losing Mikey Lewis early to injury, KR responded with composure and power. Tries from

Tom Davies and Joe Burgess helped build momentum, while Jez Litten’s spark out of dummy-half shifted the tide. The Robins powered home 32–16, sending their bitter rivals crashing out — and their own fans into jubilation.

Semi-Final – Catalans Crushed in York

In the semi-final at York LNER Community Stadium, a sold-out crowd witnessed Hull KR dismantle Catalans Dragons 36–12 in a dominant display. James Batchelor scored twice early to give KR the upper hand, though Catalans briefly edged ahead with tries from Reimis Smith and Luke Keary. But Mikey Lewis struck just before half-time to restore a 16–12 lead.

The second half was one-way traffic. Lewis added a penalty before Jack Broadbent dazzled with two superb tries. Joe Burgess added the final blow late on, sealing KR’s place in their second Challenge Cup final in three seasons. Lewis, with 16 points and a commanding performance, was instrumental in orchestrating the win.

The Road Leads to Wembley

Now, Wembley awaits. Hull KR will face Warrington Wolves in what promises to be a thrilling final. It’s a chance at redemption, a shot at silverware, and a moment 40 years in the making. The Robins’ faithful are preparing for the journey south, dreaming of lifting the Cup for the first time since their lone triumph in 1980.
