Brad Arthur unhappy with Sam Burgess's Half-Time discussion with Tom Grant

In his post-match interview, Brad Arthur suggested that Sam Burgess, the coach of the Warrington Wolves, may have influenced Tom Grant's decision-making during the second half.

Sam Burgess felt he had acted with respect and integrity with regards to two first half decisions that he felt the official had got wrong.

"I just asked about a couple of forward passes that I thought were pretty obvious at really important times. I just wanted to know if he thought they were forward at all. I know they’ve got a tough job but they are pretty important calls, and he’s got two touch judges there as well so I wanted to know what was going on there. I felt like I had to ask that question – I asked a couple privately last week about a couple of decisions like some obstruction calls, the penalty on Zane Musgrove. I wanted to know if I was seeing some different things. It was done in a good manner." Sam Burgess
